Our Story.

We are a formally established non-stock organization, duly registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission, dedicated to the promotion of Filipino cultures. Our endeavors encompass the following aspects:

1. Spiritual Value Reformation,

2. Athletic Endeavors,

3. Vocational Training Initiatives,

4. Agriculture and afforestation,

5. Nutritional initiatives,

6. The establishment of communities, among other pursuits.

Through these initiatives, we endeavor to empower individuals and foster a sense of belonging while honoring and celebrating the profound heritage of the Filipino people. Our dedication transcends mere short-term endeavors; we aspire to foster enduring transformation that enhances lives and fortifies cultural connections.

We engage in the advocacy of Eskrima Pangamot, employing the Dugukan Martial Arts System, a Cebuano self-defense art, while also participating in tournaments and sporting events. Moreover, we are advocating for Hilot, a traditional natural healing practice, and diligently offering training in it to enhance the livelihoods of the community. The organization provides training in Pangamot, also known as Eskrima, which is based on the Dugukan Martial Arts System—a local martial art that includes both armed and unarmed fighting techniques, such as Arnis (or Eskrima), knife (or kutsilyo), pestle (or alho), and axe combat. The unarmed techniques encompass a system of pugilism alongside Dumog, a Filipino wrestling style that integrates elements of combat and grappling.

We offer training in holistic arts, particularly in Hilot and Art of Life 1---72, which are methodologies that can facilitate the healing of both life and nature. We educate instructors in Pangamot-Eskrima, commonly referred to as Arnis and Hilot, and we establish ranking categories for instructorship in both martial arts and Hilot for practitioners of the Dugukan Martial Arts System.

Our program highlights the importance of both physical techniques and the cultural and historical contexts that underpin these practices. Our comprehensive methodology ensures that educators are adequately prepared to effectively share their expertise in local and global contexts. We extend a warm invitation to individuals engaged in the exploration of our arts and culture, both local and international, to join our organization, Inner Core Dugukan Association, Inc. We meticulously craft our programs to foster innovation and teamwork, providing an extensive array of workshops and events. Join us in celebrating the profound depth of our collective heritage and the dynamic manifestations of modern culture.
