CATEGORIES OF DUGUKAN

The initial stage is known as MAGKAT-ON. During the Magkat-on level, the practitioner acquires skills in the competency of the Dugukan Hilot Healing System/DHS, the Dugukan Martial Arts System, and the Art of Life 1---72. As they progress through this stage, practitioners deepen their understanding of the holistic principles that govern both healing and self-defense. This foundational knowledge prepares them for more advanced techniques and philosophies in subsequent levels.

 

ABTIK [brown belt level (1st-3rd DAN)] – a practitioner at this level has excellent skills in the Dugukan Hilot Healing System, the Dugukan Martial Arts System, and the Art of Life 1---72. The practitioner had passed the competency qualifications prescribed in this category. The qualification prescribed in this category is satisfactory. He had passed 1 LI. The methodologies of assessment used are written tests, illustrations, oral questioning, and Lightship Initiation/LI.

 

IGMAT [black belt level (4th DAN)] A practitioner at this level has skills in the Dugukan Hilot Healing System, the Dugukan Martial Arts System, and the Art of Life 1---72. He or she had passed the competency qualifications prescribed in this category. The qualification prescribed in this category is Very Good. He had passed four LIs. The methodologies of assessment used are written tests, illustrations, oral questioning, and Lightship Initiation/LI.

 

The black belt level, known as MAT-AN, spans from 1st to 8th DAN. A practitioner at this level has the skills of the Dugukan Hilot Healing System, the Dugukan Martial Arts System, and the Art of Life 1---72. He or she had passed the competency qualifications prescribed in this category. The qualification prescribed in this category is Very Satisfactory. He/she had passed eight LIs. The methodologies of assessment used are written tests, illustrations, oral questioning, and Lightship Initiation/LI.

 

HALIGI [master’s level (1st - 15th DAN)] A practitioner at this level has skills in the Dugukan Hilot Healing System, the Dugukan Martial Arts System, and the Art of Life 1---72. He or she had passed the competency qualifications prescribed in this category. The qualification prescribed in this category is Excellent. He or she had passed 15 LIs. The methodologies of assessment used are written tests, illustrations, oral questioning, and Lightship Initiation/LI.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF DUGUKAN PRACTITIONER

Respect and abide by the law and uphold the ethical standards of practice. Additionally, it is essential for the practitioner to engage in continuous professional development and contribute to the community by sharing knowledge and skills with others in the field.

 

Attend meetings, special meetings, training, and seminars to stay updated on the latest practices and methodologies. Furthermore, collaboration with colleagues and seeking mentorship can enhance one’s expertise and foster a supportive professional network.

 

Comply with organizational fees: monthly dues, ID, and certificates to maintain excellent standing within the profession. By actively participating in these activities, practitioners not only enhance their own skills but also uplift the entire community, leading to improved outcomes for clients and a stronger overall practice.

 

Protect the organization’s name or image by adhering to ethical standards and promoting positive representations in all professional interactions. This commitment not only solidifies trust among members but also reinforces the organization’s reputation within the industry.

 

Participate in a medical mission to provide care in underserved areas, where your skills can have the most profound impact. Such experiences broaden one's perspective and foster a deep sense of fulfillment and purpose in the practice of holistic arts.

 

Attend cultural gatherings that celebrate diversity and encourage collaboration among professionals. Engaging with different communities can enhance understanding and empathy, ultimately leading to more comprehensive and compassionate care for all citizens.
