CATEGORIES OF DUGUKAN
MAGKAT-ON (beginner stage). During Magkat-on level the trainee acquires his/her skills of Dugukan Competencies in Dugukan Hilot Healing/DHH, Dugukan Martial Arts /DMA and Art of Life 1---72.
ABTIK [brown belt level (1st -3rd DAN)] – a practitioner at this level has good skills in DHH, DMA and Art of Life 1---72. He/She had passed the qualifications of competency prescribed in this category. The qualification prescribed in this category is Good. He had passed 1 LI. The methodology of assessment used are: Written Test, Illustrations, Oral Questioning and or Lightship Initiation/LI.
IGMAT [black belt level (4th DAN)] – a practitioner at this level has the skills in DHH, DMA and Art of Life 1---72. He/She had passed the qualifications of competency prescribed in this category. The qualification prescribed in this category is Very Good. He had passed 4 LI. The methodology of assessment used are: Written Test, Illustrations, Oral Questioning and or Lightship Initiation/LI.
MAT-AN [black belt level (1st - 8th DAN)] – a practitioner at this level has the skills in DHH, DMA and Art of Life 1---72. He/She had passed the qualifications of competency prescribed in this category. The qualification prescribed in this category is Very Satisfactory. He/She had passed 8 LI. The methodology of assessment used are: Written Test, Illustrations, Oral Questioning and or Lightship Initiation/LI.
HALIGI [master’s level (1st - 15th DAN)] – a practitioner at this level has the skills in DHH, DMA and Art of Life 1---72. He/She had passed the qualifications of competency prescribed in this category. The qualification prescribed in this category is Excellent. He/She had passed 15 LI. The methodology of assessment used are: Written Test, Illustrations, Oral Questioning and or Lightship Initiation/LI.
